Link a device
GhostGauge shows an eight-character code on the machine you want to link, and it joins that machine to whichever account is signed in in this browser. Don’t have a code yet? The guide below shows where to find it — the app doesn’t display it until you ask for it.
Codes last ten minutes. Only ever type a code your own copy of GhostGauge is showing you — a code someone else sends you would link their machine to your account.
Where to find the code
GhostGauge only makes a code when you ask it to, so nothing is shown until you do this. Four steps, on the machine that runs the app.

Open GhostGauge on the machine you want to link
It has to be that machine itself — the PC or the Android device running the app. If you are looking at the dashboard on a phone across your network, the account controls are not there, by design. Go to the machine doing the recording.

Open the ☰ menu, top right
The same menu that carries VIEW, SPEED UNITS and Fullscreen. Scroll down it to the ACCOUNT heading.

Choose Link this PC to GhostGauge
On a phone or tablet running the app it reads Link this device to GhostGauge instead. Above it you will see either “Not signed in” or a count of races waiting to upload — both are normal, and both mean you are in the right place.

Read the eight-character code
It appears right there with a countdown beside it. Type it into the box above while you are signed in here, and the two are joined. There is no I, L, O or U in a code — if you are looking at one of those, it is a 1, a 0 or something else.
If that is not what you are seeing
No ACCOUNT heading in the menu. You are viewing the dashboard from a different device. The account controls only appear on the machine actually running GhostGauge.
It says “Signed in as…”. That machine is already linked and there is nothing to do. To move it to a different account, choose Sign out on this PC first, then start again at step 3.
You opened the Tuner or the Replay and got a sign-in card. That card carries the same button and the same code — use it and skip the menu entirely.
“That code expired.” Codes last ten minutes. Choose Link this PC to GhostGauge again for a fresh one.
You changed your mind. Cancel sits under the code and throws it away without linking anything.
